Advent & Christmas 2017
If you've been looking for a place where you and your family can sing Christmas carols, experience the story of Jesus's birth, and find space to slow down and create space for the Spirit to move in your life, we'd love to welcome you.
This season we will...
create space for those who are having a Blue Christmas,
continue to serve a hot meal every Sunday evening,
connect Mind, Body, and Spirit on Sunday mornings,
rejoice during the annual Christmas Pageant,
host the community for World AIDS Day,
pray and act with the national #EndGunViolence vigil,
warm our hearts with Lessons and Carols,
and listen for the voice of our Stillspeaking God in poetry.

Christmas isn’t always happy. For those who are grieving, the holiday season can be excruciating. On December 10th, we will gather to sing quiet songs, make space for grief, and remember the coming of Christ without all the tinsel and reindeer. This service is a part of the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting and we will invite parents who have lost children to light a candle in memory of their children.
National Vigil to #EndGunViolence
In partnership with a national movement coordinated by the Newtown Foundation, we will be host a candlelight vigil on the 5th anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. We will gather on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 7pm in Pioneer Hall to worship in the style of the Taize community and share an extended time of prayer focused on gun violence.
Poetry & PJs
Join us as we experience the voice of our StillSpeaking God through poetry and music. We will celebrate the season of Christmas by singing the carols we didn't get a chance to fit in on Christmas Eve AND hear beautiful poetry read aloud. Kids are invited to come to this casual worship service in their PJs. Sunday, Dec. 31st at 10:45am.
