Announcements:
- Our congregation is joining with others in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference of the UCC to help abolish medical debt. Our Board of Mission has made a contribution from our budget, but if you would like to make your own contribution you can do so on the KO website by the end of May.
- Thank you to those who attended our Second Helping Head Cook training last week. If you missed the training but are interested in learning more about being a head cook or volunteering in another way, please contact us. We have handouts and a video of the training that we can share with you.
- We will be hosting a conversation with some of the staff from the Manhattan Public Library via Facebook Live this Wednesday at Noon. You can join us to learn how to access books, magazines, audiobooks, movies and more without ever going inside the library. If you’ve been thinking about taking the plunge and learning how to access electronic resources, we hope you’ll join us.
- Our Deacons want to honor our Spring and Summer graduates, but we need to know who you are. Please let us know right away if you are graduating so we can celebrate with you.
- We are starting a new opportunity for fellowship on Monday evenings at 6:30pm. Join Deane Lehmann starting tomorrow and the group can decide what kinds of fun things you’d like to do together over the summer months. (Other weekly gatherings include Fellowship Hour, youth group, Prayers on Thursday nights, and the Tuesday book group.) Links for all the weekly gatherings are here.
