We're located at the corner of Juliette and Poyntz...right where we've been since a group of abolitionists founded our church in the 1850s. We are a group of open-minded, big-hearted Christ-followers who are committed to working for justice and loving all, just as Jesus has taught us to do. We are currently worshiping and gathering primarily online and you can find access information for all our events and services here.

Advent & Christmas 2020If you've been looking for a place where you and your family can sing Christmas carols, experience the story of Jesus's birth, and find space to slow down and create space for the Spirit to move in your life, we'd love to welcome you.
This season we will... host the community for World AIDS Day, continue to serve a hot meal every Sunday evening, explore our faith in adult and children's classes, reinvent traditions like Advent Wreaths & poinsettias, rejoice during the annual Christmas Pageant, connect with God through music during Lessons & Carols, and more. We'd love to welcome you this Christmas. Free Advent Devotionals and a Family Advent Action Calendar are available for you. These gorgeous, interactive devotionals from A Sanctified Art are guaranteed to enhance your Advent season. Pick one up any time in the plastic box located just outside the double doors into our office area near the bike rack at 700 Poyntz.
Look for your Star Word in your December newsletter from the church. Click here to learn about how you can use the Star Word throughout Advent and then join us for a special Epiphany worship service on Zoom on Jan. 3rd at 10:45 a.m.
