Worship with us.
When we gather for worship at First Congregational UCC in Manhattan, it is a time to celebrate God’s presence in our lives—in the good and the bad, the joys and the sorrows. We worship through music, scripture, art, singing, listening, praying, and reflecting. All ages are a part of our worship. We are welcomed through baptism into one family of God, “of all ages, tongues, and races.” (UCC Statement of Faith)
In worship we seek to reconnect ourselves with God and with each other. We find support and nourishment for our faith journeys, and we affirm that our journey is part of a community. We care for one another and pray for one another, and we allow ourselves to be held in that loving care of a community. Some of us have been part of the church all our lives. Some of us are rediscovering or reclaiming our faith. Some of us are still searching. In worship we discover the value of being in community—our searching and growing does not need to be a lonely process. More information about Sunday morning worship at First Congregational UCC. |
