Music always brings us a special connection to the Holy....and the month of December is a time when we particularly feel that deep connection through Christmas carols and other sacred music. Since we won't be able to gather in our sanctuary to sing together safely this year, we wanted to provide some musical resources you can use at home. We hope you'll find time each week to light a candle and make a joyful noise as we prepare to welcome the Christ child together this Christmas. Sing Christmas Carols at Home It's a lot more fun to sing Christmas carols when you've got a piano or organ leading the way! Bring your family together for an evening of singing or feel the Spirit move by singing on your own! We've collected 20 carols that are familiar to our congregation and compiled them in the document below. Once you open it, you'll see links you can click on and they will take you to a website where you can "push play" on a piano/organ accompaniment and scroll down to find the lyrics. If you have questions or run into any problems, let us know. We are grateful to smallchurchmusic.com for providing these accompaniment files for free use by churches. Music from the Wider UCC Musicians throughout the United Church of Christ have partnered to provide sacred music for the season. We'll be uploading it here and on our YouTube channel soon so you can enjoy listening or singing along at home.
